Getting pretty much free hands as a housing designer is always a treat. This time the commissioner wanted a modern Japandi style and asked for it to include a bedroom, a seating area, and a window out to nature, so this is what I came up with! The house features a small seating area where you can hang out with your friends and an open kitchen connecting to the seating area. I decided to elevate the bedroom and window to create some separation between the ‘rooms’. I’m really happy with this build and I had a great time working with the lovely Asako who commissioned me.
